Everyone is trying so hard to be happy. But are they really?

People are working so hard to be rich? But is that too not an illusion?

People are running into marriage, but is marriage everything people dream?

People are travelling abroad, but does leaving home fulfil their dreams?

People are resigning from paid employment to join the entrepreneurship wagon, but are they breaking through with their products and market access?

The truth is you will never know until you try. You will never try if all you do is look at the failure stats. Does everyone who ventures reach their goals? Or do a large number arrive at failure, discontent, pressure and even disillusionment?

The more we seek for power, the more we lack it. People in every sector, enterprise, and nation complain about marginalization. Students cry about how today’s education is crippling and stifling individual initiative. Feminists fight to down a male-centric world that promotes misogyny, emasculates and degrades women. Lots of people have no mental strength to rescue themselves from depression no matter how hard they try. Doctors lack the power to cure diseases even after they administer excellent medical care.

On average, more people feel less empowered than they will like to be. It is against the lack of comfort and peace of our times that we have to look into what the Bible says.

"Come, everyone who thirsts, to the waters! Come, he who has no money, buy, and eat! Yes, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price. Why do you spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which doesn't satisfy? listen diligently to me, and eat you that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness. Isaiah 55:1-2

There is water that quenches human thirst and purpose that brings delightful meaning to life. There is a solution for the discontent ravaging humanity today. Humanity can find real bread, wine, milk and honey if they can believe this.

If you found this bread, this golden loaf: Wouldn’t you sell all you have to buy it?
